I'm back from a long hiatus and would like to start posting more often again! And I have lots of interesting shots to share. My first little group of pictures is of Hakugei at Nagashima Spa Land. I went last fall and I loved this park so much. It felt so much like a mini Cedar Point. And Hakugei is the top dog at the park. The ride has the same fantastic elements you'd expect from an RMC with some extra length that is missing on the lower tier RMCs. Although it doesn't quite make it past Iron Gwazi or Steel Vengeance in my eyes, it's squarely at \#3 which is great! More to come from this park later.

  • Cyclone Blowing In

This was among the last of the RMC conversions I needed to ride in the U.S. I walked off perfectly whelmed. It was about what I thought it would be. A little short and not quite as memorable as the larger RMCs but a great little machine to throw you out of your seat. It's a great fit at SFoG!

But that's not a bad thing necessarily, its brothers are right at the edge of what I consider a comfortable coaster. But either way, Silverwood is a fantastic park and I can't wait to get back in the next couple years!

  • Ride the Single Rail

Raptors are the most deceptive coaster type in the world. No stats from the first two models really stand out but don't let that fool you. These rides are some of the most intense coasters ever built. I'm lucky to live down the street from a Raptor model and it's a treat. Wonder Woman sports an unreal drop with crazy whip in the back seat and some shoulder bruising airtime. Maybe it's just me getting old but I can only ride these coasters a handful of times in a row before my head starts to swim!
