Wing coasters get a really bad rap from enthusiasts who complain that the rides spend too much time being graceful and not enough time being intense. Well that may be the case but I think the real point of the ride is the exposed-ness of you sitting on the wing. Like X-Flight here. The ride is full of near misses that really emphasizes just how close you are to dismemberment. When you reframe the ride as wanting to achieve that, they get a lot more fun! And I’m a fan.
